Before children, travel was simple. It wasn’t always cheap, but sleeping on couches and in our cars wasn’t unfathomable and shortcuts to savings were plentiful. We could pack a carry-on for a flight set to leave in two hours and make it to the airport with time to spare. Dealing with plane rides, meal times, and entertaining young kids in car seats is what we live for. Traveling with kids is different, but the enjoyment that comes from seeing the world through the eyes of our children is an experience worth the added steps of traveling with them.

You’re a parent now, but that doesn’t mean you’re a June Cleaver personality-absent robot human. You like things than just better home living magazines (though they are perfectly good) and want more. Parents like weird, quirky stuff just like childless adults: aliens, the supernatural, freaky history, thrilling attractions and rides, and yes, even learning about serial killers and cults. We know this, and we are here for it.
